The Wars of the Roses Saga

To Thine Own Self

A new historical fiction series is in the works! TO THINE OWN SELF is the first book of the WARS OF THE ROSES SAGA. It is the story of the last Plantagenets, and how their three-hundred-year dynasty came to an end with the advent of the Tudors. This epic new historical fiction series serves as the prequel to the four books of THE TUDOR CHRONICLES, laying the foundation for the advent of the Tudor Dynasty. This blood-soaked tale tells the story of the thirty-year struggle for the throne between the rival Plantagenet Houses of York and Lancaster. This is the story of kings and commoners, queens and curs, heroes and villains, loyalty and treachery, bloody battles and tense sieges, all told against the backdrop of the one of the most fascinating and colorful eras in our history; The Middle Ages. TO THINE OWN SELF is now available on AMAZON in both Kindle eBook and paperback.

HELLO, EVERYONE, and welcome! I have great news for those of you waiting for my next book! I’m pleased to announce that I am currently about at the halfway point in writing my latest historical fiction novel, FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM. I am anticipating publishing this second book of THE WARS OF THE ROSES SAGA around the latter part of next year, in the autumn of 2026. FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM is my 10th novel, and my 6th in the Historical Fiction genre. This book will complete the six-novel series chronicling the entire Tudor era.

FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM begins in 1483, where TO THINE OWN SELF, the first book of THE WARS OF THE ROSES SAGA, leaves off. When the story begins, King Edward IV has died, and Prince Edward, now King Edward V at age twelve, is on his way from Ludlow Castle to London to claim his throne. By Chapter 19, which I am currently writing, the Princes in the Tower have long since disappeared, Richard III has been defeated and killed at the Battle of Bosworth Field, and King Henry VII is facing a second Pretender to his throne in Perkin Warbeck.
